Labor Allocation Manager
Garden State Growers is a wholesale grower of a variety of perennials, annuals and ground coverings located in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. We are looking for a full-time Manager to oversee all the
contract labor allocation to meet business requirements.
The ideal candidate must be a team player, detailed oriented, organized, computer literate, self-motivated and display a high level of commitment to providing exceptional customer service both internally and externally.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Work in tandem with all Department Heads to ensure daily the correct labor allocation.
- Lead the effort to create (with buy-in from the Department Heads) a best work practices plan
- Create a Daily Labor Allocation Schedule that meets the needs of all Department Heads.
- Support the GSG Controller with tracking tools to measure labor efficiencies
- Create a daily work order schedule that meets Management requests and ensure employees complete all work orders.
- Create and enforce daily an evaluation process to be used by Department Heads to evaluate employee work efficiencies
- Co-own with the Department Heads all labor dollars
Requirements:
- Native fluency (or fluency as a second language) in Spanish
- Pervious leadership assignment in a call center helpful
- Past military experience (in a leadership role) very beneficial
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong financial background
- Past experience with labor relations
Compensation:
Compensation is competitive within the Industry.
